Main responsibilities;
Ensure the safe movement of equipment;
Ensure accurate recording of product delivery, inventory;
Cleaning, maintenance and service on equipment and workplace facilities;
Troubleshooting and repair of heavy duty and medium duty diesel;
The disassembly/overhaul of engines or engine components, transmissions, refrigeration equipment, clutches and other assemblies;
Diagnosis of equipment problems; identifying and replacing, as required, worn or broken parts, making all necessary adjustments and alignments;
Scheduled maintenance program for greasing and inspections;
Customer relations - dealing with both internal and external customers and staff;
Ensuring you provide effective and reliable maintenance to our fleet;
Must work safely, abiding by all safety regulations and shop policies.
Education and Experience Required;
Must be a 310T Licensed Mechanic.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;
Ability to work autonomously to a schedule;
Ability to work evenings and weekends if needed;
Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions;
Ability to organize and keep a clean work station;
Must be resourceful, flexible and reliable;
Must work well in groups.
